Since its inception in 1973, Schochet Associates has focused on running a truly seamless, integrated real estate company that leverages the synergies derived from a high level of expertise in all of the key disciplines of real estate development, investing, and property management. Today our comprehensive and complete real estate development and management company delivers a full range of services to our owned portfolio as well as to a variety of third party clients.

SCHOCHET ASSOCIATES, the company's development arm provides highly sophisticated development and acquisition skills and has successfully structured complex transactions valued at over $500 million. Among these are Brick Market Place, which launched the rebirth of Newport Rhode Island's then deteriorating downtown waterfront; the South End Community Health Center, which was a lynchpin for the redevelopment of Boston's Washington Street corridor; along with dozens of affordable housing developments utilizing a vast array of state and federal subsidy programs.

FEDERAL MANAGEMENT CO., INC. was formed in 1973 for the purpose of managing the growing real estate portfolio of Schochet Associates, Inc. Since inception, it has provided management services for all of Schochet Associates' developments and acquisitions. These services include complete responsibility for building operations, financial administration, leasing activities, and interfacing with local, state, and national agencies. More recently, Federal Management has worked to aggressively expand its presence in the third-party property management arena, and has successfully grown that increasingly important part of its business. Today, Federal Management Company manages approximately 3,500 apartments and 275,000 square feet of commercial space.

JRS EQUITIES, INC. organized in 1980 provides expertise in acquisition and financing, and serves as the firm's investor services liaison.
